This year Boracay placed 8th in AskMen.com as one of the best beaches in the world. I can’t really help myself to make an excuses, of being in Caraga and far away from Boracay, in making a post here in my blog (exclusive for Caraga). Although, I just mentioned here in my blog that Cagwait white beach resort is the twin head of Boracay, and competing against Siargao. Well, i’m just proud of it! We are Filipino, and we are blessed really with so many beautiful spots in our country, the Philippines.
I remember, when i visited Boracay a year ago, I can’t really stop myself in admiring the place. When I set foot, and land myself, I just remove my slippers there walking barefooted in those powdery, sugary fine white sand beaches as I walked across a miles (a stretch of four kilometers white sand) . The softness of a very fine sands as it touches your feet while you walk, feels the strength within you without tiring yourself. I considered this as a healthy method in blending yourself with nature. Our forefathers do this to remain healthy and have a long life! whew!!!!
Just looking the white sand across the sea, so many peoples of different races come together in this paradise to greet each other as friendship established. When I looked at those Korean couples, they smile to me, and sometimes I wondered if I looked like Korean. Do I really looked like korean in my avatar? hehehehe!!!
Those crystal blue waters never ends in my sight as i looked back through the seas horizon with so many swimmers enjoying, sailing with those colorful yacht in a distant border, playing with different show of their lives, just to feel the pleasure and enjoyment never before felt. The sunset was about to reveal, this could be the best show i’ve got before my eyes! Of course embracing with the cool winds refreshed your beings, feeling clean and new in this episode of your time.
I ended my day in a pump boat going back to Caticlan for just a 15 minutes ride. It is just once in a lifetime experience of a Caraganon who jumped to Boracay for a one-day escapade. Until now, Boracay still linger fresh in my memory. Hope I can now excuse myself for Caraga!

I’m still wondering about that listing on Askmen.com. I live on Boracay and its nothing like the reports. That pic you have of the single palm leaning over the beach has long since fallen. Most resorts have drainage areas that is eroding the beach in front of each location. Koreans are allowed to break off peices of reef in unbelievable quantites.
I’m thinking the ASKmen is 90% american visited site but americans make up some of the lowest percentage of visitors here.

so sad for that development…government must intervene of such problems, if not, boracay will end up a trash in a years to come. i hope it doesn’t happen. By the way the pic, i found it beautifully captured, but doesn’t know that it’s going to be vanished…
